Smart and improved form by the ready winner in this fillies' minor event, and though the pair with stronger form claims beforehand both disappointed to varying degrees, Ashadihan is clearly well suited by these conditions and shortlist material for the corresponding Good Friday event; the gallop was fair at best.

ASHADIHAN struggled at 3 yrs after successful reappearance, albeit in the face of some stiff tasks, but got back on the up in no uncertain terms after 5 months off, improving upon her record when fresh, also making it 2 out of 2 on all-weather; mid-field, travelled well, shaken up over 1f out, led soon after, readily asserted; now qualified for the fillies' and mares race on Good Friday and will hold leading claims in that event, boasting form already well in advance of what's been required to win either renewal so far (acknowledging this year's race looks set to be significantly stronger).

VOLUNTEER POINT (IRE) posted one of her better efforts this winter; held up, travelled well, switched and driven over 1f out, headway soon after, kept on final 1f but no match for winner.

MISE EN ROSE (USA) has gone well fresh in the past and was strong in the betting after 3 months off, but ran respectably at best; mid-field, headway under pressure over 1f out, wandered around a bit, one paced final 1f.

GOLDEN AMBER (IRE) was up against it at these weights and not disgraced, albeit with the benefit of a fairly easy lead, only cracking 1f out as class told.

BAHAARAH (IRE) making all-weather debut after 5 months off, underperformed, albeit in a race that wasn't run to suit, also looking a little rusty; dropped out, effort early in straight, not quicken.

BUYING TROUBLE (USA) ended her 3-y-o season better than ever (runner-up in listed race final start), but wasn't in anything like the same form, presumably needing this first outing for 6 months; waited with, pushed along 2f out, not quicken, not unduly punished; should be closer to form next time.

MAKE MUSIC was flying too high at this level and duly struggled; chased leader, shaken up early in straight, dropped away final 1f; nothing wrong with form of previous win, so not one to write off once back at a more suitable level.
