C&D winner last summer who confirmed the promise of his appearance here 8 days earlier when third of 22 just under 3 weeks ago, sure to have gone closer still but for again encountering trouble. No reason why he won't be in the mix again.

Enjoyed a remarkable 2025 when a 7-time winner from 6f to 1m. Produced easily her best effort of the campaign to get in amongst the 3-y-os when fourth of 9 at Carlisle (7f, good) just under 2 weeks ago, doing her best work late from off just a fair gallop. One to take seriously.

Suited by a sound gallop when getting off the mark in a Lingfield novice in December. Kept to 6f and shaped as if that trip is a bare minimum for him returned to a handicap when sixth of 18 at Ascot (good to firm) last month. Entitled to come on from that and this return to 7f will suit.

Ended 2025 with back-to-back wins over 7f in the mud at Doncaster. Good third-placed efforts in competitive handicaps on first couple of starts this season but run of good form halted at Newbury (1m, good) last month. Bounce back needed but that's possible.

Raised his game after a series of unplaced efforts to belatedly get his head back in front in 12-runner event at Newcastle (1m) 10 days ago, value more as he had to wait fully a furlong for a gap in the closing stages. In the mix again under a penalty should similar tactics be employed.

Without a win since his 2-y-o days but got back on track from a career-low mark when third of 14 at Wetherby (7f, firm) last week. Ran well over C&D last month and certainly not discounted.

Quirky sort who ran no sort of race on first outing since leaving David O'Meara for 40,000 gns when last of 8 at Lingfield (7.6f, good to firm) last month. Tongue tie worn that day retained and easy to look elsewhere.
