Successful over this trip at Newmarket last year and shaped better than bare result on occasions thereafter. Not many positives to glean from first 2 outings this year but got back on track when second of 22 over C&D last week, having to weave way through. Nudged up 4 lb but remains well treated.

Acclamation gelding who built on debut when ready winner of 7-runner novice at Newcastle (7f) in November. Remains likely to do better but opening mark could have been kinder.

C&D winner last summer who backed that up with plenty of creditable efforts. Shaped well on his Doncaster reappearance and was again better than the bare result when fifth of 22 over C&D last week, having been forced to pick his way through as things were developing. Has to be shortlisted.

Consistent mare who pulled clear of the rest when a close second at Newmarket on final start of a productive 2025 campaign. Went one better dropped to 6f on her reappearance at Kempton and had a valid excuse (in wrong group) at Yarmouth on latest start.

Successful in this race in 2024 and returned to form after 3 months off with a good second in 7f handicap at Southwell in January, despite being caught further back than ideal. Will need a fair bit to drop right but he's one to consider all the same.

Latest win at Chelmsford City in February and confirmed his return to form when third of 9 in all-weather handicap at Lingfield (1m) 11 days ago, faring best of those up with the strong pace. Just as effective on turf and enters calculations.

Won a maiden by a wide margin at Newcastle (1m) in December and placed both subsequent runs, including when shaping better than the bare result on handicap debut in February. Underperformed at Chelmsford since and has been gelded.

Ended 2025 in very good nick. Looked in need of his reappearance at Kempton (7f) and duly stepped up on that run when second in 7f handicap at Southwell 23 days ago. Should remain competitive back on turf.

Lightly-raced maiden who advanced his form further for his new handler when second of 9 on handicap debut at Nottingham (1m) last month. Looks sure to be going one better before long but stall 21 presents a challenge.

Dual 7f winner on turf last August who is entitled to be sharper for last month's comeback fifth at Beverley. Visor back on.

Landed the odds in a Ripon maiden in June on just his second start for new stable. Shaped well when fifth of 16 in a handicap there on reappearance and has had excuses on both outings since.

Finished second to a progressive rival over 1m at Southwell in October and returned to a similar level on first outing for new stable (sold for 13,000 gns out of Charlie Johnston's yard) when causing a 33/1 surprise at Wolverhampton in January, aided by good ride. Only 2 lb higher on return to turf.

Successful on 2 of his 4 starts for this yard last season, including at Chelmsford in September. Found only Commander of Life too good back there (7f) the following month and needs considering on return from 7 months off given he's capable fresh.

Reliable sort who typically give his running when fifth of 7 in 7f handicap at Southwell on latest start. Returns to turf from a 7 lb lower mark, so shouldn't be taken lightly.

Record a fifth course win at Newcastle in 8-runner handicap (7f) 22 days ago. Needs to prove himself as effective away from that track, though.

All wins over 7f. Stepped up on his reappearance when third in 7-runner all-weather handicap at Lingfield last month and it's reasonable to believe he'll be back to something like his best here.

Back to winning ways with blinkers added at Newcastle (7f) in February and mostly creditable efforts since, including back against the males over C&D last week, albeit aided by a good draw.

In good form on all-weather earlier in the year, scoring at Newcastle (7f) in February and splitting a pair on subsequent winners back there in March. However, underperformed without any obvious excuses back on turf at Doncaster on most recent outing.

Bounced back to his best with his reappearance under his belt when winning 11-runner handicap at Newcastle (7f) in March, benefiting from the step back up in trip. Easy to excuse his subsequent run over C&D and is now refitted with headgear for the first time since August 2023.

Veteran who shaped as if needing the run after 6 months off when seventh of 11 in handicap (18/1) at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) 32 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Has been given a chance by the assessor and that run suggested he still has some life in him.

Recorded a fourth success of 2025 at Wolverhampton in December but followed a below-par effort with an even worse one back at that venue in February. On the plus side, he's much lower in the weights back on grass.

C&D winner who tumbled in the weights prior to landing a handicap at Beverley (7f, good to soft) towards the end of last season. Stepped up on his comeback when eight of 16 at Ripon in April but ran below par back there last time, looking a difficult ride to boot.
