Wolverhampton 20:30 Odds Comparison

Runner-up first 3 starts this year, before suited by the step up to 1m when winning at Southwell on first outing this month. Landed the odds (8/13) under a penalty over C&D 7 days ago and he's not taken lightly with more still to offer.

Improved when opening his account at Lingfield on return and also scored at Kempton last month. Again ran well when 1¼ lengths second of 8 to Crimson Rambler at Southwell 12 days ago and he's now better off at the weights with that rival. Strong contender.

All 3 starts at this course over 6f/7f and has yet to beat a rival. However, those runs came in quick succession and this longer distance could suit (stamina on dam's side of his pedigree), so he's open to improvement as he goes handicapping.

Landed the odds (10/11) on nursery debut at this course (7f) in November but hasn't kicked on in 3 starts since, in first-time cheekpieces when third of 5 at Chelmsford a month ago. Will need to get back on the up making first run since leaving Jack Morland.

Down the field in 3 runs last year, but after 4 months off (gelded) he took a step forward when fourth of 10 in handicap at this course (7f) in January, despite being caught wider than ideal. Will need to find more again upped further in trip.

Started the year in good form over 1m, finishing third for the fourth time in a row when beaten 1¼ lengths by Karakula Dancer at Kempton last month. Caught wide when last of 7 at Lingfield (1¼m) 11 days ago, so he could bounce back.

Shaped well on handicap/stable debut when 1¾ lengths fourth of 12 to Karakula Dancer at Kempton on return. Run best excused (saddled slipped) when ninth of 11 over C&D a week ago, so she's not ruled out despite the widest draw.

Runner-up in nursery at Lingfield (7f) in September but not in the same form upped to 1m both subsequent outings, tried in blinkers (now discarded) when last of 8 at Kempton the following month. Off 5 months since.

Hasn't made much impact in 3 starts so far, though offered a bit more than previously upped in trip when sixth of 9 in novice at Newcastle (1m) last time. Further progress required as she makes handicap debut.

Dropped back in trip, seemed unsuited by the emphasis on speed when sixth of 7 on handicap/stable debut in February. However, she failed to step forward from that run when tenth of 12 at Newcastle (7f) 11 days ago.
