Stoutly-bred sort who was suited by a step up in trip when making a winning start to his handicap career over C&D (good) 19 days ago. Much respected off 5 lb higher with further progress possible.

Sole hurdles success came at Carlisle in October 2024 but he's not been disgraced in recent months, finishing a creditable third of 11 in handicap at Sedgefield (2½m, good to soft) 42 days ago. Should be on the premises again.

Fair maiden for Emma Lavelle. Showed she retains ability at the second time of asking for a new stable after an absence when fourth of 6 in 2m Warwick handicap in March, although she was subsequently said to have bled. Back up in trip.

Maiden who was second in a 19f Carlisle handicap last month and seemed unsuited by a sharper test when fourth of 10 at Kelso (2¼m, good) since. Wears first-time cheekpieces here. Enters calculations back up in trip.

From a good jumping family. Hinted at promise in his qualifying runs but disappointed when only seventh of 9 on 19f Carlisle handicap debut last month. Still early days but he needs to leave that behind now.

A modest 2m Flat winner. Yet to score in this sphere and typically raced too freely when a below-form sixth over C&D last time.

Found a bit improvement when placed twice over 2¾m at Cartmel last summer. Shaped as if still in form when fifth of 13 over C&D (good) in the autumn but hasn't been seen since so peak fitness has to be taken on trust.

Fair Flat winner. Well held in 3 maiden hurdles in Ireland in February/March but needs keeping a close eye on in the betting now handicapping for the first time in this sphere.

Successful over 19f at Carlisle last November. Looked back in form when sixth at Hexham in March but well beaten back there since.

Losing run extends back to a C&D success in September 2023. Last of 8 over C&D (good to soft) last May and not seen since. Can only watch unless the betting strongly hints otherwise.
