Dual winner at 3 yrs (including at this course) and made the frame 3 times last season, shaping well on first try at 2m at Kempton in October. Narrowly denied over 1½m at Southwell next outing, before possibly needing the run on his return. Major player back up in trip.

Has finished second and fourth in last 2 renewals of this race and proved better than ever when scoring at Kempton and this C&D at the turn of the year, all 8 career victories coming on all-weather. Respected despite his career-high mark.

Has been prone to the odd poor run but, following a lesser effort in the trial for this race, produced a career best when resuming winning ways at Lingfield at the end of January. Cheekpieces added, though has widest draw to overcome as he goes up in grade.

Runner-up in this race last year and fourth in the Northumberland Plate, before doubling his tally at Dundalk (11f) in August. Good third at Dundalk in February and no surprise to see him bounce back from a lesser effort last time returned to this venue.

Successful in this race in 2024 but has been below form since his second at Chester in September. However, he had a hopeless task from his position at Lingfield on AWC Trials Day last time and his mark has eased further as a result.

Ended long losing run at Southwell (1½m) on New Year's Day and has continued in good heart back up to around 2m both subsequent outings, scoring cosily at Lingfield on AWC Trials Day in February.

Has developed a solid record on all-weather, including a runner-up effort in the Northumberland Vase last year. Proved as good as ever when second to a course specialist at Chelmsford in February, but this is a tougher ask with hood now added.

Enjoyed a productive campaign in 2025, winning 7 times with latest success at Southwell in December. Creditable third of 5 at Wolverhampton 3 weeks ago, but he's drawn wide for his return to this higher level. Blinkers reapplied.

Capitalised on drop in grade at Wolverhampton in November and, having met trouble in running next time, returned from 3 months off with a decisive success at Southwell 20 days ago. Consistent type, though is now up to a career-high mark.

Returned to winning ways when making all at Kempton in January and only just edged out at Lingfield later that month. However, wasn't able to lead when sixth of 10 at Southwell last time and he's likely to find competition up front once more.

Won twice on all-weather for current connections in 2025, when also third in the Northumberland Plate. Making second run back this year, possibly still needed the run when last of 5 at Wolverhampton (1¾m) 3 weeks ago and usual cheekpieces now reapplied.
