A fairly useful but very lightly-raced winner over hurdles. Shaped as if needing the run at Exeter on chase debut and showed better form on the back of a breathing operation when fourth of 8 at this course (2½m) 3 weeks ago. Longer trip should suit.

Gained second hurdles win at Chepstow over Christmas before following up on his chase debut at Doncaster in February. Beaten by one that got first run when runner-up in a 7-runner event back at Chepstow (19.4f, soft) last month and he's considered from same mark.

Has held her form well since successful on chasing bow at Warwick in October, seeing off a trio of more exposed rivals in good style at Fakenham last month. Up 5 lb but should go well again.

Opened chase account at Chepstow (23.6f) following a breathing operation on second of 2 starts last season and good second at same course in November following a 12-month absence. Back on track after another breathing operation at Ludlow last time and he holds solid place claims.

Fairly useful chaser at her best in France and after 2 low-key runs over hurdles for Venetia Williams, was right back to form reverted to chasing when winning an 8-runner handicap at Ludlow (2½m) last month. Had plenty in hand there and should be in the mix again from 6 lb higher mark.

Not the most fluent of jumpers but he's yet to finish outside of the frame this season, doing well to last as long as he did under a forcing ride when third here (23.4f, soft) 31 days ago. Others remain likelier winners, though.

Jumped well when winning this race from the front last season before following up at Chepstow 2 weeks later. Hasn't made a major impact in 3 starts this season, the last of those coming in December, so will need to return to Newbury to spark him back to form from slipping mark.

Lost his form last season and hasn't offered much in 2 starts this campaign, on the retreat when crashing out at Bangor last month. Others make greater appeal.

Still a maiden over hurdles but has won 3 of his last 4 starts over fences, proving better than ever when landing a 13-runner handicap at Fairyhouse (3m, heavy) last month. 11 lb higher now but this Irish raider is respected.

Looked an improved model when routing the opposition on his reappearance at Worcester in October but hasn't built on that when completing twice since and his jumping remains a cause for concern. Tongue strap and cheekpieces applied.
