67,000 gns foal, Ulysses colt. Half-brother to useful winner up to 11f Hornsea Bay. Dam 1¼m-11.4f winner. Holds an Irish Derby entry and looks interesting on debut, especially if supported.

48,000 gns yearling, Study of Man colt showed promise when fifth of 13 in a 1m maiden here (not given hard time in a race that has worked out well). He's entered in the Irish Derby and high hopes he can improve stepping up to 1¼m.

River Boyne colt won a barrier trial prior to making a very encouraging Rules debut when runner-up over 7f at Leopardstown in October. Up significantly in trip (half-sister stayed 1¼m) and likely to be capable of better.

Twilight Son gelding (dam successful over middle distances) improved when chasing home a subsequent winner over 1m at Killarney in October and could take another step forward for the longer trip.

Son of Persian King was never a threat on debut over 7f at Curragh in July, though gelded since, and merits a market check upped markedly in trip.

€36,000 yearling, Australia gelding. Brother to 1½m winner Denis Anthony and half-brother to useful winner up to 18.6f Alphonse Le Grande and 5f winner Lunigiana. Stable also saddle Karrygrant, who's likely to be the primary hope.

€15,500 yearling, €34,000 2-y-o, Sottsass gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 5f winner Boundless Power. Dam, maiden, out of half-sister to high-class 1m-1¼m winner Archipenko. Probably one for down the line.

Dawn Approach filly. Dam placed at 7f-10.5f. Seemed to know her job and showed ability when fourth of 11 in maiden at the Curragh (7f, heavy) and could improve for the longer trip.

€42,000 son of Circus Maximus failed to progress from his debut when fourth of 14 in maiden at Dundalk in October, though does at least step up in trip (dam stayed further than this) on first start since being gelded.

Zoustar filly. Half-sister to winner up to 10.5f Good American and 1m winner Falls of Acharn. Dam, German 1m-1½m winner, from family of high-class performer up to 1¼m Nayyir and St Leger runner-up Highest. Makes some appeal on pedigree, though Hippology likely to be the stable first string.

€4,000 foal, €6,000 yearling, King of Change gelding. Dam unraced out of unraced sister to Breeders' Cup Mile Domedriver. Inexpensive purchase looks up against it on racecourse bow.

Soldier's Call filly makes her turf debut after taking a backwards step on the all-weather last time, finishing eleventh of 14 in maiden at Dundalk (25/1).

34,000 gns yearling, Coulsty gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 2-y-o 7.5f winner Vanada and 9.4f/1¼m winner Valiabad. Dam 9.5f-15f winner. Newcomer is likely to be one for the longer-term.
