Remains a maiden after 17 runs and he was again keener than ideal when sixth in a big-field Doncaster handicap (7f) 12 days ago. On the flip side he was far from discredited then and his best effort this year came when runner up over C&D in February.

Placed at Wolverhampton (8.6f) and Thirsk (7f) last month. Below best when sixth of 8 in handicap at Nottingham (6f) 10 days ago but he very much appeals as the type to bounce back quickly. Visor back on in place of blinkers.

Belied market weakness when returning to winning ways over 6f at Wolverhampton in February. Got no luck back there next time but no excuses at Chelmsford last time. Blinkers now go on in place of cheekpieces.

Off the mark upped to 1m here in December but hasn't beaten a rival on each of his 3 starts on all-weather/turf this year. Has plenty to prove at present even allowing for further ease in class.

Zoustar filly who has offered some promise on 2 of her 3 starts in maidens at 7f. Switch to handicaps in her favour now but she does need to keep the slow starts at bay.

Maiden winner in Ireland last autumn but has failed to make a significant impact for present stable, albeit possibly i need of his Nottingham reappearance last month. Eased further 3 lb by the assessor but difficult draw to operate from in 12. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Ex-Irish gelding who was equipped with a tongue strap/cheekpieces for 1st time (discarded here) when seventh of 15 in handicap at Galway (8.5f) last summer. Switched yards subsequently and likely the betting can prove a useful guide.

Losing run is mounting up but he comes here in decent nick, just finding others finishing stronger when fourth in handicap at Lingfield (7f) 6 weeks ago. Respected as an in-form sort with cheekpieces on 1st time.

Twice a winner over 6f at Windsor last summer but he ended last season below form and suspicion he'll strip fitter for this first start for 6 months.

Successful 4 times last year but largely below form in recent months, running a somewhat typical race when sixth at Bath (1m) 3 weeks ago, slowly into stride and never landing a blow. Usual cheekpieces refitted ahead of this.

Posted a career best when winning 6-runner handicap (7/1) at Salisbury (6f, soft) in September. However, followed that with a laboured display at Bath (5.7f) a month later and needs to get back on track on this return from 6 months off.

Modest maiden at best and has finished well held both starts since returning from a break this spring. Now tried in eyeshields/blinkers.
