Ascot 18:10 Odds Comparison

Starman filly created a fine impression when successful on debut at Yarmouth (6f) and travelled well long way when sixth in the Albany here last June. Returned from a year off with an easy victory in 10-runner novice at Windsor (6f) 18 days ago and capable of better still now handicapping.

French colt whose sole success at 2 yrs came in 6f Group 3 at Chantilly in June. Took a big step forward with 1½ lengths third of 5 in Group 3 Prix du Gros-Chene there (5f) 19 days ago. Not out of things on his handicap debut.

Gelded and vastly improved this season, easily landing 6f maiden at Windsor before following up in most impressive style in 12-runner handicap at Leicester (6f) by 2½ lengths from Pilu. Hiked up 10 lb but that form is working out well and he's a major player if not impacted by the low draw.

Upwardly-mobile Blue Point gelding who bagged 6f novices at Lingfield and Leicester in the spring before retaining his unbeaten record in 5f novice at Hamilton last month. Not taken lightly now stepping into handicap company for the first time.

Improving US colt who went 3-4 when easily making all in 7-runner claimer at Churchill Downs (5f, firm) on his return in April. Looks to have more to offer now going into handicaps. Shouldn't be underestimated for Wesley Ward.

Useful juvenile who signed off with a good third in Flying Childers at Doncaster (5f) and advanced his form when reappearing with victory in 10-runner listed race at York (5f), beating Simplify by ½ length. Going to need even more now handicapping off a triple figure mark but it's possible.

Progressive 5f winner at 2 yrs and continued on an upward curve with a comfortable victory in 8-runner handicap at Newcastle (6f) last month. Hiked up 8 lb but further improvement is likely.

Made a winning debut at Gulfstream (5f) last May before an excellent third in Norfolk Stakes over C&D last June. Not seen again until April but took a step forward when second of 7 in listed race at Churchill Downs (5.5f) 41 days ago. Goes handicapping here with even more required.

Improving filly who completed a hat-trick in cosy fashion in 14-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f) in April. Bettered that form with very good ½-length second of 10 to Dickensian in listed race at York (5f) last time. Considered back in handicap company.

Landed a pair of 6f Chester novice events last summer, latterly in very convincing fashion. Off 10 months but continued on the up with ¾-length second of 9 to Black Star Boy in handicap at Sandown (5f) in April. Capable of further progress and well in the mix.

Landed 5f Ripon maiden last summer and not disgraced when fifth in Prix d'Arenberg at Longchamp (5f) after. Off 8 months but greatly improved on her handicap debut with second of 17 at York (5f) last month. Not out of things despite a 3 lb rise.

Useful colt who was placed in a 6f Group 3 at Kempton and 5f listed race at Dundalk on polytrack last autumn. Matched that form when making a winning return in conditions race at Wolverhampton (6f) but only a respectable 5 lengths fifth of 10 in Newbury listed event back on turf since.

Fairly useful 7f novice winner at 2 yrs. Gelded/had breathing operation and much improved this season with excellent third placings in 7f handicaps at Newbury and this track. Interesting on first go over 5f and may do better still with tongue tie added.

Won 3 times for Adrian Murray in 2025, signing off with 5f listed win at Dundalk in October. Best of her 3 runs for new yard this season when fourth of 12 in handicap at the Curragh (5f) 16 days ago. This demands another jolt of improvement however.

Took a major step forward dropped in trip when making a successful return in 5f Newbury handicap in April. Not seen to best effect (hampered over 1f out) when sixth of 10 to Dickensian in listed race at York (5f) since and worth another chance for his in-form yard.

Proved a revelation on the all-weather during the winter, winning 5 handicaps. Found further progress returned to turf when scoring at Newmarket (6f) but not at his best upped to 7f when fourth of 6 in Epsom listed event. Can bounce back reverted in trip here.

Produced a useful effort when bagging 6f Chester handicap in May and bettered that form off a 5 lb higher mark when second of 11 there (6f) 20 days ago. Likely better still to come.

Looked on the up when landing 6f Wolverhampton maiden and handicap at Newmarket this spring. Not at her best when 2¾ lengths seventh of 11 to Ten Carat Harry at Newmarket (6f) last time though. Bounce back required.

On the up in handicaps this season and he followed up his 6f Hamilton success with a stylish victory back at 5f in 10-runner event at Chester 6 days ago. No forlorn hope under a penalty in his hat-trick bid.

A three-time 5f winner at 2 yrs, making all in York listed race and Flying Childers at Doncaster for last 2 successes. Easy to back and shaped as if the run was needed when 6¼ lengths seventh of 10 to Dickensian in listed race back at York (5f) 36 days ago. Can strip fitter on her handicap debut.

Raced mainly at 7f last year, landing a maiden at Chester. Much improved when making a winning handicap debut dropped to 6f at Southwell on return but pulled too hard when well held in Ascot Group 3 and Newbury listed contest since. Hard to fancy on first go over the minimum trip.

Campaigned in pattern company following Salisbury debut success at 2 yrs, largely acquitting himself well. On the upgrade switched to handicaps this term, a very good ½-length second of 10 to River Spey at Windsor (6f) 18 days ago. Enters calculations nudged up 2 lb.

Bagged a pair of 5f nurseries for Simon & Ed Crisford. Advanced her form on just her second start for current yard with victory in 12-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f) 19 days ago. Up 6 lb but she could well have more to offer.

Much improved for current yard, impressively making all in 5f Wolverhampton handicap in February. Ridden too aggressively when tenth of 13 in listed race at Chantilly (5.5f, heavy) following month. Freshened up since.

Fairly useful filly who bagged 5f handicap at Meydan in January and ended her time for A Cintra & Julio Olascoaga with a fair second of 14 in 6f minor event there in March. No surprise to see her take a step forward for Karl Burke after a break.

Expensive breeze-up buy looked an excellent prospect when a debut winner of 5f Nottingham maiden and again showed bags of speed when eighth in the Queen Mary over C&D last June. Well below par both subsequent runs though, so needs to hit the ground running on her first start for 10 months.

Looked a useful prospect for Michael Appleby when winning 5f maiden at Sandown and 6f novice at Haydock in September. Only tenth of 12 in handicap at Chester for his new yard last month though and appears up against it in this tougher race.

Doncaster novice winner at 2 yrs who got firmly back on track when making all in 5f handicap at Chester in May. Faced stiff task when ninth of 10 to Dickensian in listed race at York (5f) 36 days ago. Cheekpieces added but this looks even tougher.
