Possibly not the strongest Lowther but with the Molecomb winner in second, Marygate winner third and Princess Margaret winner fourth it was some of the higher-rated fillies in the line up that chased home the improving Living In The Past, who wasn't pestered in front and benefited from a well-judged ride.

LIVING IN THE PAST (IRE) is improving all the time, perhaps suited by the return to firmer ground but also benefiting from a switch back to positive tactics, full value for the win but well ridden on a sprint track that favours these tactics; made all, travelled well, quickened over 2f out, edged right, ridden out; all speed on pedigree and performance, she will prove best at sprint trips.

LIBERTY BEACH remains in good form and had no issue with the extra furlong, beaten only by a rival who controlled the race to some extent; mid-division, travelled well, headway over 1f out, ran on, never nearer; she's a very quick, likeable juvenile who may yet have a bigger performance in the locker.

GOOD VIBES after just 6 days off, ran her best race, doing especially well under the circumstances, faring best of those from off the pace having also briefly been stopped in the run; held up, took strong hold, headway when not clear run approaching final 1f, stayed on, took third close home.

UNDER THE STARS (IRE) who'd beaten the winner at Ascot last time, ran creditably but left the impression the firmer ground/flatter track placed more emphasis on speed than ideal (bred to be suited by 7f+); chased leaders, driven approaching final 1f, one paced.

WEJDAN (FR) didn't necessarily meet market expectations but ran well upped in grade, progressing as expected from her impressive debut win, just not sharp enough for this fast 6f, and it says plenty about the regard in which she's held that William Haggas put her into this grade so quickly; in rear, effort over 2f out, not quicken, stayed on gradually final 1f; she'll be suited by 7f+ and remains open to improvement.

PRECIOUS MOMENTS (IRE) ran creditably but could do with her sights lowering a bit, this a deeper Group 2 than that she was second in at the Curragh in June; chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, not quicken; she should be suited by at least 7f.

CELTIC BEAUTY (IRE) was below form, without notable excuses, and her second in the Albany remains a standout effort; raced wide, in touch, driven over 1f out, no extra.

NASAIYM (USA) was found out in better company 5 weeks on from opening her account; pressed leader, ridden 2f out, weakened final 1f.

FLIPPA THE STRIPPA (IRE) won a listed event earlier in the year when the race set up perfectly for her but hasn't made much progress since and faced a stiff task in this grade; held up, took keen hold, effort 2f out, no extra final 1f; she should stay 6f.

MOON OF LOVE (IRE) after 9 weeks off, faced a stiff task in this grade; mid-division, pulled hard, lost place around 2f out, eased off.
