Handicap form to view positively, plenty of well-bred 3-y-os from powerful yards in the line-up, one of them proving a class apart, whilst further back the third in particular looks to have more to offer; the gallop was on the steady side, making the margin of victory for the winner all the more noteworthy.

MOOLAZIM with Ryan Moore on board for turf debut, confirmed previous promise after 8-week break in no uncertain terms, relishing the 1f longer trip and scoring with plenty up his sleeve; mid-field, travelled well, good headway around 2f out, produced to lead over 1f out, stormed clear; has quickly made up in to a useful performer and will go on improving, so just the type who will continue to give a good account.

GLENDUN (USA) returned to turf, quickly got back on track, matching the form he showed when filling same spot over 1f shorter here on reappearance, that also coming in a competitive affair; close up, pushed along over 2f out, outpaced over 1f out, kept on well again final 100 yds; most of his improvement is probably already behind him, but he's on a handy mark and should remain competitive.

FUJAIRA BRIDGE (IRE) making handicap debut having been flying too high when last seen 5 weeks ago, ran at least as well as previously whilst leaving the firm impression he remains with untapped potential, probably once back at 1¼m; in rear, pushed along over 2f out, looked green and took a while to pick up before making good late gains, never nearer; one to keep an eye on.

EXCEL AGAIN ran to a similar level as for handicap debut, but excuses harder to find this time, a shade free in the early stages but getting a clear shot at things reverted to more positive tactics, upsides briefly around 2f out until no extra final 100 yds.

HERSIGH with the headgear discarded, ran best race yet, the sounder surface and more measured ride than last time both likely factors, but at the same time didn't look well treated, essentially getting the run of things from the front but readily brushed aside over 1f out; most talented sibling has shown his best on AW and both her wins have come on synthetics, so she could be worth switching back to that type of surface.

MILLIE'S KISS claimer ridden back on turf after 5 weeks off, wasted no time getting back to form; waited with, last at halfway, switched 2f out, late headway, never a threat; needs further respite from the assessor.

HAKEEM saw off a host of subsequent improvers when winning over C&D 7 weeks ago, but could manage only a small step forward himself switched to handicap company; held up, pushed along under 3f out, one paced; would probably have benefited from a stronger gallop and worth another chance.

KODIAC KHAN (IRE) already looks more exposed than most he'll meet in this type of event, but might have needed the run after 7 weeks off; mid-division, headway under pressure over 2f out, faded over 1f out.

SALT WHISTLE BAY (IRE) back down markedly in trip, was too free after 4 months off; mid-division, pulled hard, dropped away from 3f out.

JUSTICE FREDERICK (IRE) was well held after 9 weeks off; reared leaving stalls, took strong hold, always behind.
