produced a career best to win for the first time on turf after 5 months off, carrying on where he left off at the end of his progressive 5-y-o campaign and getting back on track after Meydan struggles; held up, travelled strongly, headway over 1f out, stayed on to lead well inside final 1f; sure to go well again.

ran well after 14 months off and showed enough to think he'll defy this mark, moving through the race in good style on return from such a lengthy absence, so he's one to view positively assuming he comes out of this race without any issues; prominent, travelled well, led 2f out, headed well inside final 1f, no extra.

ran creditably but looks as though any further progress will come as his stamina is drawn out, again shaping as if he'll stay 1½m given another try at it; in touch, ridden 2f out, kept on; should remain competitive.

A useful handicap which was run at an ordinary pace until Niceofyoutotellme made headway and applied some pace pressure 4f out; the first 2 were reappearing from some time off, the runner-up especially so, and both look fairly treated so the form should prove solid.

MAJEED produced a career best to win for the first time on turf after 5 months off, carrying on where he left off at the end of his progressive 5-y-o campaign and getting back on track after Meydan struggles; held up, travelled strongly, headway over 1f out, stayed on to lead well inside final 1f; sure to go well again.

DARSHINI ran creditably but looks as though any further progress will come as his stamina is drawn out, again shaping as if he'll stay 1½m given another try at it; in touch, ridden 2f out, kept on; should remain competitive.

FALLEN FOR A STAR ran respectably back on turf but never really looked like defying a 7 lb rise and it may be he proves at his best on all-weather; dwelt, held up, headway over 1f out, one paced.
