was a bit fresh back from 11 weeks off but ran creditably and has numerous good efforts (including wins) from this sort of mark or just slightly lower; mid-division, took strong hold, progress 1f out, ran on, not unduly punished.

with the cheekpieces quickly discarded, was far too free after another slow start; missed the break, held up, refused to settle, shaken up over 2f out, beaten 1f out; he's potentially on a good mark with a return to fibresand in mind, but whether he's in the form to take advantage remains to be seen.

A useful handicap which the winner did pretty well to land from his position, though we know plenty about most of these and few of them are particularly well handicapped, the form overall nothing special for the grade.

POWER LINK (USA) is holding his form well and eked out a bit more to resume winning ways, deserving extra credit from his position; waited with, headway entering final 1f, stayed on to lead dying strides.

BABY STEPS again ran well and deserves plenty of credit for his consistency; in touch, effort under 2f out, edged ahead briefly well inside final 1f, kept on.

GABRIAL THE SAINT (IRE) more or less backed up his big Silver Cup effort, proving himself on this surface; tracked pace, quickened to lead over 1f out, collared final 50 yds.

EL HOMBRE was a bit fresh back from 11 weeks off but ran creditably and has numerous good efforts (including wins) from this sort of mark or just slightly lower; mid-division, took strong hold, progress 1f out, ran on, not unduly punished.

WATCHABLE under a change of claimers, has possibly gone off the boil slightly, though he'd have finished closer had he kept straight; chased leader, effort under 2f out, keeping on between horses when hung left inside final 1f, one paced.

MOONRAKER with the cheekpieces quickly discarded, was far too free after another slow start; missed the break, held up, refused to settle, shaken up over 2f out, beaten 1f out; he's potentially on a good mark with a return to fibresand in mind, but whether he's in the form to take advantage remains to be seen.

REFLEKTOR (IRE) failed to come on for recent run; led, tackled 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra final 1f; he'll be better off trying to dominate a 0-85.

LAST PAGE looked rusty on first outing since leaving David Loughnane after 3 months off; dwelt, in rear, effort over 2f out, made no impression.
