is in top form at present, better than ever as he followed up from last time, though no doubt he was seen to good effect, getting first run; mid-field, travelled fluently, headway on outer over 3f out, led over 2f out, quickened clear and in command soon after, ridden out; circumstances uncertain to be so favourable again, though a mark in the low-90s will make life tougher in any case.

was easy to back but shaped well, not ideally placed and meeting trouble on a couple of occasions, the winner gone by the time he got in the clear, the only negative to his performance being that he hung under pressure; raced off the pace, headway when not clear run approaching 2f out, hampered entering straight, switched approaching final 1f, hung left but finished well, never nearer; his profile on all-weather is by and large a progressive one, still looks on a fair mark and one to be interested in next time.

again wasn't seen to best effect but shaped as if still in good form, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; tracked pace, took keen hold, outpaced then forced to switch over 2f out, stayed on again straight.

was well backed but wasn't seen to best effect, unsuited by the way the race developed; soon steadied, outpaced over 2f out, kept on final 1f, never a threat.

shaped as if back in form, tiring in the straight having been rushed up to make his effort, his jockey forced to ride him more patiently than usual having missed a beat at the start; dwelt, raced off the pace, rapid headway over 3f out, disputed lead soon after, headed over 2f out, no extra final 1f.

ran below form upped to a trip that he's not bred to stay; led, not settle fully, joined 3f out, headed soon after, weakened; likely to prove best at short of 2m, he's the type to bounce back quickly.

without the headgear this time, ran poorly back up in trip, unproven over this far but there was more to this display than simply a lack of stamina; prominent, took keen hold, lost place 3f out, weakened.

A useful handicap, won by a bang-in-form sort, but it was a messy affair, steadily run until around 4f out, Sunblazer getting first run and slipping the field on the home turn, the runner-up shaping well from further back.

SUNBLAZER (IRE) is in top form at present, better than ever as he followed up from last time, though no doubt he was seen to good effect, getting first run; mid-field, travelled fluently, headway on outer over 3f out, led over 2f out, quickened clear and in command soon after, ridden out; circumstances uncertain to be so favourable again, though a mark in the low-90s will make life tougher in any case.

HAINES was easy to back but shaped well, not ideally placed and meeting trouble on a couple of occasions, the winner gone by the time he got in the clear, the only negative to his performance being that he hung under pressure; raced off the pace, headway when not clear run approaching 2f out, hampered entering straight, switched approaching final 1f, hung left but finished well, never nearer; his profile on all-weather is by and large a progressive one, still looks on a fair mark and one to be interested in next time.

BLUE SURF again wasn't seen to best effect but shaped as if still in good form, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; tracked pace, took keen hold, outpaced then forced to switch over 2f out, stayed on again straight.

CASTILO DEL DIABLO (IRE) was well backed but wasn't seen to best effect, unsuited by the way the race developed; soon steadied, outpaced over 2f out, kept on final 1f, never a threat.

LUV U WHATEVER shaped as if back in form, tiring in the straight having been rushed up to make his effort, his jockey forced to ride him more patiently than usual having missed a beat at the start; dwelt, raced off the pace, rapid headway over 3f out, disputed lead soon after, headed over 2f out, no extra final 1f.

MASTERPAVER without the headgear this time, ran poorly back up in trip, unproven over this far but there was more to this display than simply a lack of stamina; prominent, took keen hold, lost place 3f out, weakened.
