back down in trip, ran well back on tapeta and is clearly capable of winning from this mark, although there's a chance he isn't the easiest of rides; dwelt, held up, headway over 1f out, stayed on, just failed; still unexposed.

All 8 ran.

Winning Owner: Mr G. B. Maher

Time: 1m 58.06s Closing Sectional: (2f): 24.82s (100.5%)

Overrounds: Industry SP 111%, Betfair SP 100.3%

An eventful handicap which was well run courtesy of Virat Rex and little separated the first 5 as they went to the line, with the fifth certainly unlucky not to finish even closer.

OFF THE PULSE came out on top having dropped back down to last winning mark and has a solid record at this track, although he did get a better run through than some and was all out to hold on come the line here; in touch, travelled best, stayed on to lead inside final 1f.

SALMON SUSHI back down in trip, ran well back on tapeta and is clearly capable of winning from this mark, although there's a chance he isn't the easiest of rides; dwelt, held up, headway over 1f out, stayed on, just failed; still unexposed.

PERFECT CRACKER stepped up on comeback run switched to tapeta, looks on a fair mark; in touch, driven over 1f out, stayed on; should remain competitive.

PUZZLE TIME back down in trip, fared better than of late making tapeta debut after 6 weeks off and has edged back down to last winning mark; prominent, no extra final 1f.

CAYUGA again ran well, is in top form at present and looked unlucky not to finish a bit closer; mid-field, travelled well, no room 1f out, switched, kept on; likely to continue in form.

SHEILA'S BUDDY wasn't disgraced but has little in hand from present mark; mid-field, driven over 2f out, one paced.

MIA'S BOY wasn't in same form as last time; dwelt, always behind.

VIVAT REX (IRE) was given an overly-aggressive ride after 5 weeks off; led, went clear halfway, headed final 1f, weakened.
