showed much improved form to resume winning ways, suited by the return to a more conventional track and making 2 wins from 2 starts on artificial surfaces, showing a good turn of foot in the process; chased leaders, travelled fluently, quickened to lead over 1f out, edged left, well on top finish; bred to stay 1¼m, but clearly not short of speed and sure to be of interest again.

without tongue strap this time, attracted support and bounced back to form, though very much had the run of the race at the head of affairs; dictated, kicked on 3f out, headed approaching final 1f, kept on without making any further impression on the winner; not sure to be in same form next time.

ran respectably in terms of form, though may have been expected to fare better given his position and form over shorter; prominent, challenged entering straight, kept on without looking like coming out on top.

ran creditably in terms of form, but left impression he should have finished closer, unlikely to have troubled the winner, but showing enough to suggest this mark ought not to prove beyond him another day; in touch, travelled smoothly, challenged entering straight, not clear run approaching final 1f, one paced.

making all-weather debut, best not judged too harshly on this effort in first-time cheekpieces after 10 weeks off, not ideally placed the way things developed; waited with, outpaced 3f out, never landed a blow.

A useful handicap on paper, but with the race essentially developing into a 3f sprint, it's not form to go overboard about; that point made, the manner in which Momayyaz put the race to bed in a matter of strides in the straight was quite striking, suggesting she may well have come out on top in any case.
