This form is as strong as it gets for 0-125s, even the fourth and fifth - beaten more than 25 lengths - had acquitted themselves well in a higher grade of late, the first 3 - who had had just 4 previous chase starts between them - all likely to remain of interest; the pace slackened a circuit out before the the winner got them stretched out from the fourth last.

REIKERS ISLAND (IRE) had run well at Exeter but still took a big step forward second time over fences to win a strong-looking event in really good style, clearly a long way ahead of his mark; tracked pace, travelled well, not fluent second, jumped on 4 out, in command after 2 out, impressive; likely to progress further, he's only rising 6 and just 5 runs into his Rules career, sure to be of interest for some big staying prizes this winter.

SOME CHAOS (IRE) might have lost his unbeaten record over fences but still progressed again, just bumping into an even more-lightly raced one and there are more races to be won with him yet; mid-division, untidy twelfth, chased leaders leaving back straight, challenged 3 out, probably held when steadied into/mistake 2 out, not perservered with from the last but still continued to pull clear of the rest; open to further improvement, he shouldn't be long in regaining the winning thread.

COBOLOBO (FR) failed to reproduce his chasing debut form switched to a handicap under a new rider, his jumping put under pressure in the latter stages, though this was a strong race for the grade and he's certainly not one to give up on; waited with, stumbled/pecked 5 out, reminders after, not fluent next, third when hit 2 out, stayed on gradually; remains with potential, he's capable of winning a decent staying prize this winter (well at home in the mud).

MERCERS COURT (IRE) wasn't disgraced by any means in a strong race for the grade, beaten only by 3 far-less exposed ones; disputed lead, hit 4 out, one paced straight.

CAPTAIN BUCK'S (FR) shaped similarly to last time without getting into the race with quite the same purpose; held up, headway out wide fourteenth, in touch leaving back straight, not quicken straight, not knocked about at all once held.

RUPERRA TOM found things much tougher in this grade; raced well off the pace, slow third (and not always fluent thereafter), struggling 4 out, merely passed beaten horses.

CANYOURINGMEBACK (IRE) with the hood left off, might have had an excuse last time (found to have bled from nose and have irregular heartbeat) but he's probably handicapped to the hilt now, his wide-margin Huntingdon win worth very little; mid-division, mistake second, in touch end of back straight, left behind gradually.

FLAMING CHARMER (IRE) wasn't in the same form as last time (when a fortunate winner in any case), though this ground was probably firmer than ideal; chased leaders, untidy fifteenth, lost ground 5 out, left behind gradually.

ROYAL PALLADIUM (FR) has a good record fresh (like so many from the yard) so it's hard to point to needing the run (got no further than the first on last month's reappearance), the ground perhaps not soft enough for him; disputed lead, lost place 5 out, faded.

WIZARDS BRIDGE ran no sort of race, underlining his inconsistency; in touch, mistake fifth, lost ground next, reminders after, beaten 5 out.
