followed up from last time, not needing to better that effort, though he was a more comfortable winner than the margin would suggest; close up, travelled strongly, mistakes sixth and twelfth, led 4 out, in command next, closed down run-in, won easily; he still isn't straightforward, though.

in first-time blinkers after just 4 days off, ended up running well on form but it was a dislikeable effort, flattered by his proximitiy; in touch, jumped none too fluently, off the bridle before most and not looked keen, keeping on when blundered 2 out, stayed on run-in, never nearer.

ran creditably, shaping second best but probably paying for attempting to go with the winner; led, slow eighth, headed when not fluent 4 out, wilted flat and lost second.

A weak race, Ballinvarrig essentially winning easily for all the margin of victory might not suggest it.

BALLINVARRIG (IRE) followed up from last time, not needing to better that effort, though he was a more comfortable winner than the margin would suggest; close up, travelled strongly, mistakes sixth and twelfth, led 4 out, in command next, closed down run-in, won easily; he still isn't straightforward, though.

ORBASA (FR) ran creditably, shaping second best but probably paying for attempting to go with the winner; led, slow eighth, headed when not fluent 4 out, wilted flat and lost second.
