proved better than ever on just his fourth start over fences, going about his business in really likeable fashion; held up, tanked along and headway seventh, chased leader ninth, produced to lead between last 2, mistake last but soon asserted and won with plenty in hand; faces a rise in the weights but seems sure to go well again.

back in headgear, was well backed and turned in his best effort of the season having been cut plenty of slack by the handicapper - eligible for lesser events than this; led, travelled fluently, shaken up before 3 out, headed between last 2, no match for winner.
