An up-to-scratch running of this fillies listed event but it's unlikely to make for strong form for the level, no knocking the efforts of the trio that came to the fore but the first 2 are quite well exposed, the 3-y-os in the line up either too inexperienced or failing to fire; the winner made all at a reasonable tempo.

CHAIN OF DAISIES proved better than ever as she resumed winning ways, gaining a second success at this level; made all, travelled fluently, kicked on over 2f out, closed down final 1f but kept going well; evidently a useful performer and should continue to give a good account at this level, though there's a chance that she'll prove vunlerable to less exposed rivals.

SAGACIOUSLY (IRE) ran up to best back in listed company; raced off the pace, headway over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, kept on, never nearer; her best form has come at this trip but, on this evidence, she'll prove at least as effective back over 1½m.

MAYBELATER back on turf, proved better than ever after 5 months off; prominent, travelled better than most, chased leader under 2f out, kept on; she's only been tried over further than this once, again leaving the impression that it will suit here, possible that she'll eke out a bit more granted more of a test.

VERY DASHING faced a stiff task upped in grade but showed improved form, that despite not yet looking the finished article, this experience unlikely to be lost on her; mid-field, lost place over 2f out, headway under pressure approaching final 1f, wandered, kept on; likely to progress further and make more of an impression at this level another day.

SHARJA QUEEN was strong in the betting but proved to be a disappointment back up in grade, particularly when bearing in mind the style of her C&D win last month, clearly not herself for whatever reason; mid-field, chased leaders over 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

BEAULY followed a good run with a below-par one; pushed along 3f out, made no impression.

TEARS OF THE SUN back on turf, followed a below-par effort with an even worse one; dwelt, raced off the pace, never on terms.

AUSTRALIAN QUEEN clearly wasn't 100% on the day; dwelt, recovered to be prominent, weakened over 2f out, eased off.
