was ridden by another inexperienced jockey but showed benefit of reappearance run to win well in the end, still lightly raced for age; held up, travelled smoothly, headway over 1f out, had to weave way through, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, kept going well; will continue to give good account.

A useful handicap and Asian Trader weaved through under a good ride from his inexperienced jockey to get the better of a couple who'd been up there throughout, with few of the others seriously threatening.

ASIAN TRADER was ridden by another inexperienced jockey but showed benefit of reappearance run to win well in the end, still lightly raced for age; held up, travelled smoothly, headway over 1f out, had to weave way through, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, kept going well; will continue to give good account.

JUDGE 'N JURY returned to form, has slipped in the weights but hasn't won for nearly 2 years and isn't the most consistent; led, headed well inside final 1f, no extra, well positioned.

ZIGGY LEE stepped up on reappearance run but needs a career-best effort to defy this mark and hasn't stood much racing in recent times; close up, ridden over 1f out, not quicken.

PEACE SEEKER ran respectably from 5 lb higher mark, but had the run of things last time and found this much tougher; in touch, driven 2f out, kept on.

PEARL BLUE (IRE) still hasn't built on reappearance promise, but didn't really get the run of things here; held up, switched 2f out, headway out wide over 1f out, no extra final 1f, not ideally placed.

KYLEAKIN LASS wasn't disgraced in the end, but never looked like winning in first-time blinkers, is on long losing run; held up, late headway.

MEGALEKA fared no better, though again wasn't ideally placed; raced wide, mid-field, weakened over 1f out.

AMBITIOUS ICARUS well backed, was below form after just 2 days off, possibly found race coming too soon; mid-field, went with little fluency, not quicken.
