fit from Flat, completed a hat-trick in this sphere in taking style from 12 lb higher than at Stratford; tracked pace, travelled powerfully, headway from home turn, quickened to lead before last, had plenty in hand, hands-and-heels ride; will go on improving and likely to take some stopping again next time.

unlucky to bump into one, but again ran well and, while not improving so fast as Kapstadt, no reason why he won't continue to go the right way; disputed lead early, led after second, kicked on leaving back straight, collared between last 2, no match for winner.

Uncompetitive, but Kapstadt and Lilac Tree would have looked interesting in any handicap, the former impressive in sweeping by his market rival in the straight to win going away; the pace was steady.

KAPSTADT (FR) fit from Flat, completed a hat-trick in this sphere in taking style from 12 lb higher than at Stratford; tracked pace, travelled powerfully, headway from home turn, quickened to lead before last, had plenty in hand, hands-and-heels ride; will go on improving and likely to take some stopping again next time.

AIR OF GLORY (IRE) back in tongue strap, looks too high in weights; chased leaders, pushed along after 3 out, held when jumped right next.

FROZEN OVER might have needed run after 9 weeks off, but was in a lull when last seen; disputed lead early, headed after second, remained prominent, faded before 2 out.
