resumed progress in no uncertain terms with reappearance behind him, looking all over the sort who'll go on improving for a while yet; close up, pushed along over 2f out, challenged over 1f out, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, ridden out; one to follow, with 1½m sure to be right up his street in due coruse.

strong in betting, wasted no time getting back on track fitted with first-time tongue strap; close up, not settle fully, led over 2f out, headed inside final 1f, stuck to task, seeing it out well considering the hold he'd taken early; still unexposed and will remain of plenty of interest, including back in a higher grade (clearly not himself last time).

ran respectably tried over this longer trip but didn't improve for it, as such no match for the first 2; made running, pushed along over 2f out, headed soon after, one paced.

still looks on a fair mark for all his form last time hasn't worked out and wasn't seen to best effect back on turf, better judged on previous efforts; mid-division, pulled hard, ridden 3f out, not quicken, never landed a blow, unsuited by the way the race developed; worth another chance.

back on softer ground, took step back in right direction, albeit never a threat; held up, took strong hold, ridden over 2f out, not quicken; would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

underperformed upped in trip for handicap debut, having given some trouble at the stalls; mid-division, off the bridle before most, beaten 2f out; his most convincing effort (on debut) came away from softish ground.

easy to back, was well held making turf/handicap debut, this a tough race in which to be returning from 4 months off; held up, ridden out wide 3f out, made no impression; worth another chance given positive impressions from all-weather in the winter.

A handful didn't give their running for whatever reason but it still reflects plenty of credit on the first 2 that they pulled so far clear inside the final 1f, more so because the early pace had been steady, the form between them well worth a positive rating.

TOP TUG (IRE) resumed progress in no uncertain terms with reappearance behind him, looking all over the sort who'll go on improving for a while yet; close up, pushed along over 2f out, challenged over 1f out, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, ridden out; one to follow, with 1½m sure to be right up his street in due coruse.
