caused a surprise to follow up from last time but, for all that he deserves credit for being 2 from 2 over fences and is clearly going the right way, again there was an opportunistic element to this performance and there may not be much, if anything, more to come; close up, jumped well in main, challenged 3 out, jumped on last, kept going well but was well positioned/ridden in a muddling affair.
close up, largely jumped well, challenged 3 out, jumped on last, kept on well

stepped up markedly on comeback run, matching his useful hurdles form with that under his belt, and if any of the quartet are worth extra credit on the day then it's him, attempting to come from last position and conceded first run; held up, not always fluent, crept closer after thirteenth, kept on well after last; remains with potential, sure to progress again over fences if he can just iron out the odd mistake.
held up, headway after 13th, kept on well after last

was reported by his trainer beforehand to be short of peak fitness and did shape as if needing the run after 12 months off; made running, jumped accurately, went with enthusiasm, headed 3 out, one paced; boasts a positive profile and some strong form, including a defeat of last season's RSA Chase winner O'Faolain's Boy, and remains open to improvement.
led, jumped soundly, headed 3 out, one paced

disappointed after 9 months off and, even allowing for possible lack of fitness, it's looking clear now that he isn't the force of old (well beaten all 3 2013/14 starts, admittedly over trip too far in Grand National final start); prominent, took strong hold, pushed along 4 out, found nothing, first beaten; something to prove at present.

All 4 ran. Fences: 18.

Winning Owner: Golden Cap

Time: 6m 27.9s

Overrounds: Industry SP 109%, Betfair SP 99.6%

A good-quality minor event but it's muddling form with only 4 runners and a steady pace, the second/third the main ones to be interested in going forward.

TINKER TIME (IRE) caused a surprise to follow up from last time but, for all that he deserves credit for being 2 from 2 over fences and is clearly going the right way, again there was an opportunistic element to this performance and there may not be much, if anything, more to come; close up, jumped well in main, challenged 3 out, jumped on last, kept going well but was well positioned/ridden in a muddling affair.
