is like plenty from his stable in that he's in top form at the minute and defied a career-high mark as he followed up from last time; made most, travelled well, joined when untidy 5 out, went on before 2 out, driven run-in, forged clear.

A few in-form types lined up and with more close to their best than not it's got the look of a solid result, not that there was anything really well treated in the field; the winner made most and as usual for the track it paid not to get too far back.

BLUE KASCADE (IRE) is like plenty from his stable in that he's in top form at the minute and defied a career-high mark as he followed up from last time; made most, travelled well, joined when untidy 5 out, went on before 2 out, driven run-in, forged clear.

FORMIDABLEOPPONENT (IRE) remains in good form but had no obvious excuses with the winner; in touch, upsides 5 out, effort 3 out, brushed aside before next, no extra run-in.

PROUD GAMBLE (IRE) remains in good form; patiently ridden, pecked 5 out, ridden before next, plugged on.

MISTER DON (IRE) again ran creditably, about the same distance behind the winner as at Wetherby; mid-division, early reminders, in touch 5 out, effort soon after next, plugged on.

PRESENTED (IRE) wasn't disgraced but made hard work of it as usual; prominent, went in snatches, outpaced home turn, no chance after.

JACK STEEL (IRE) back over fences in first-time cheekpieces, wasn't seen to best effect; dropped out, still plenty to do approaching 4 out, never involved, not well placed.
