confirmed promise of hurdling debut to get off the mark in this sphere, only needing to do the bare minimum to seal matters; chased leader, hit second, forced to switch entering straight, led on bridle 3 out, shaken up run-in, won readily; remains open to improvement.

well backed, showed improved form returned to a more realistic level, despite still looking a bit rough around the edges; broke fast, raced clear, reduced advantage fifth, ridden when headed entering straight, jinked approaching 3 out, mistake there, hung right before last, kept on, pulled clear of remainder.

easy to back, didn't settle much better than last time under a change of tactics and finished well held; dropped out, took strong hold, jumped path circuit out, driven home turn, steady headway entering straight, not fluent 2 out, never a threat.

in a tongue strap, was fairly useful on the Flat up to 1½m and showed bit on first outing since leaving John & Thady Gosden (50,000 gns) after 13 weeks off (also gelded), likely to last longer next time; patiently ridden, took keen hold, crept closer leaving back straight, pushed along entering straight, untidy 3 out, no further impression; should improve.
