whose last run is easily excused, got off the mark back down in trip with blinkers refitted, worth noting he's now run well all 3 times he's gone from the front; made all, went with enthusiasm, driven entering straight, quickened clear entering final 1f, closed down only late on, always holding on.

is going through a good spell at the moment and made the frame for the fifth start in succession; waited with, travelled fluently, still plenty to do entering straight, ridden over 1f out, good progress soon after, stayed on well.

after 6 weeks off, not for the first time of late hinted at a revival, hardly getting the smoothest of passages and his rider not getting fully serious once more; broke on terms, raced well off the pace, shaken up 2f out, keeping on when forced to switch entering final 1f, hands-and-heels ride, nearest at the finish; down to good mark and one to note when the market speaks in his favour.

A well-run sprint handicap that looks reasonable form for the grade, the rider on the winner judging things nicely, chased home by a pair of in-form sorts, while the fifth caught the eye by the finish.
