resumed winning ways in a race that showed him to good effect, certainly not lacking for speed here, probably resenting being taken on last time; soon led, shaken up around halfway, quickened on home turn and always holding on; thing will be harder for him next time.

has been harshly dealt with by the handicapper, on a career-high mark after her Wolverhampton win, but wasn't in the same form even if this wasn't run to suit; slowly into stride, held up, forced wide home turn, no further impression.

A steadily-run sprint that was dominated by Juan Horsepower, and it's form to take a lowish view of, the form weak for the grade with the top-weight some 10 lb below the maximum rating ceiling for the race.

JUAN HORSEPOWER resumed winning ways in a race that showed him to good effect, certainly not lacking for speed here, probably resenting being taken on last time; soon led, shaken up around halfway, quickened on home turn and always holding on; thing will be harder for him next time.

MERRY BANTER stepped up on recent run, running right up to her best in fact despite again looking a shade buzzy; chased leader, not settle fully, outpaced early in straight, plugged on.
