backed up improvement shown at Pontefract, value for a bit extra than than the winning margin too, and is clearly just thriving on racing, blinkers contiuing to work the oracle; prominent, went with enthusiasm, led halfway, drew clear over 1f out, looked set to win more comfortably at that point but started to tire and had to be driven out, having struck for home a long way out; likely to continue in form.

Non Runners: KING OF EDEN (IRE).

Winning Owner: Hazel Tattersall & Mr G. Hyde

Time: 1m 15.05s

Overrounds: Industry SP 119%, Betfair SP 101%

A typical 0-80 sprint in the North, neither appealing as particularly strong or weak form, won by one that's on a roll; there were a couple that didn't have things go ideally for them on the day but it was a soundly-run race in which race/track position didn't have a major bearing on the result.

FOXY CLARETS (IRE) backed up improvement shown at Pontefract, value for a bit extra than than the winning margin too, and is clearly just thriving on racing, blinkers contiuing to work the oracle; prominent, went with enthusiasm, led halfway, drew clear over 1f out, looked set to win more comfortably at that point but started to tire and had to be driven out, having struck for home a long way out; likely to continue in form.

CONSTANTINE was suited by the set of circumstances, getting a well-run race back down in trip, and produced a career-best effort; held up, headway under pressure over 1f out, stayed on, never nearer.

MEANDMYSHADOW ran one of better races of this season and remains potentially well treated on pick of last year's form; disputed lead, soon under pressure, headed halfway, stuck to task and was coming back at the finish.

RICH AGAIN (IRE) ran creditably but is proving a frustrating type; dwelt, travelled better than most, headway halfway, looked rather hesitant and was one paced; can remain compeitive in similar events but temperament under suspicion.
