backed at long odds, showed much improved form to take the step up in her stride, though it owed plenty to an enterprising ride, the outcome in no doubt from early in the straight; made all, quickened clear early in straight, in command over 1f out, idled late on, always holding on; going the right way but will need to be well placed to follow up in this grade.

attempting to emulate his sire who won this in 2011 (when run at the Curragh), ran well on form, but left the impression he'd have finished closer still had he been asked for his effort sooner; mid-division, shaken up over 1f out, closed all the way to the line, left with too much to do; should stay at least 7f.

ran at least as well in defeat as when winning the time before, unlucky not to finish closer still; held up, pushed along home turn, headway when hampered over 1f out, kept on well, nearest at the finish.

back down in trip, isn't progressing but ran below form in any case; broke fast, soon steadied, ridden early in straight, one paced; an ITC mark of 97 will make her hard to place in short term.

A slightly below-par renewal of this listed race and the form needs to be treated with a degree of caution, the winner getting first run on a pair that were set plenty to do in the circumstances.

MOONLIT SHOW backed at long odds, showed much improved form to take the step up in her stride, though it owed plenty to an enterprising ride, the outcome in no doubt from early in the straight; made all, quickened clear early in straight, in command over 1f out, idled late on, always holding on; going the right way but will need to be well placed to follow up in this grade.
