A below-par renewal of this Group 3 for fillies and mares that has been transferred from Leopardstown since last year; the pace was sound and the 3-y-os dominated, a pair previously successful at listed level coming nicely clear in the final 1f.

AINIPPE (IRE) back under a fully-fledged rider, didn't need to improve to get back to winning ways, but deserves some extra credit in the circumstances; mid-field, had to wait for gap 2f out, forced to switch 1f out, stayed on to lead close home; isn't very big and a penalty for this win is likely to make life a bit more difficult.

NEWSLETTER (IRE) ran up to best, proving there was no fluke about her Nottingham victory; held up, travelled well, produced to lead entering final 1f, collared close home; should remain competitive.

STEIP AMACH (IRE) turned in best effort of season at what looks a barely adequate trip; chased leaders, driven halfway, led under pressure briefly 1f out, kept on; likely to find winning opportunities hard to come in the short term.

STORMFLY (IRE) has had a busy time of things so far this year and was beaten by more than the drop down to this trip; led until 2f out, faded; may benefit from break.

CAPE FACTOR (IRE) back down in trip, fared no better than on return; chased leaders, outpaced halfway, lost place, kept on again late on; bit to prove at present, but will prove suited by a return to 7f+.

BLHADAWA (IRE) failed by a long chalk to repeat her Haydock form, possibly not 100% on the day, certainly more to this than just the headgear not working so well second time around; raced wide, tracked pace, led briefly 2f out, weakened; largely progressive prior to this so looks worth another chance.
