eased in the weights during first few months of this year but had been off since and came out on top after 8 months off (adding to a good record when fresh), his stamina just kicking in at the right moment back down in trip; mid-field, ridden over 1f out, stayed on to lead post.

isn't long with this yard but has eased down the weights relatively quickly (also claimer ridden here) and ran well back down in trip; led, ridden 3f out, stuck to task when challenged strongly on both sides, headed post, had the run of the race.

back in headgear, ran creditably after just 7 days off but was sent off favourite and merely extended his losing run, having every chance; prominent, challenged 1f out, not quicken.

shaped like the best horse at the weights after 7 weeks off, not getting the race run to suit (would have benefited from a stronger gallop) but still going down as an unlucky loser, seeming to have plenty in the tank but never able to fully unwind from 2f out; dwelt, held up, denied a run in straight (switched a couple of times) and finished with running left; probably still going the right way and one to be interested in.

in a change of headgear, wasn't beaten far in the bunch but the way the race was run didn't suit; in touch, headway over 1f out, not quicken, would have benefited from a stronger gallop.

didn't find this enough of a test back down in trip; in rear, driven over 2f out, hung left and carried head bit awkwardly, plugged on, never a threat.

All 6 ran.

Overrounds: Industry SP 112%, Betfair SP 99.6%

A useful handicap but not strong form for the grade, these all mainly exposed by now and a modest pace meant they finished in a heap.
