improved a bit to register her first win for this stable, ridden by Kirby for the first time and back on polytrack, having chased home Chookie Royal when last seen over C&D; in touch, ridden over 2f out, stayed on to lead final 1f, driven out; she hasn't got many miles on the clock for a for a sprinter but still isn't an obvious type to follow up.

is on a good mark and did well to finish so close back on all-weather after 10 months off, though created his own problems with another slow start and that trait - well and truly ingrained by now - means he's always a dicey betting proposition; missed the break, in rear, good headway from 2f out, chased leader final 1f, kept on.

wasn't really seen to best effect back down in trip/on polytrack and is probably worth another chance to confirm the form of his win at Wolverhampton last month, still well treated on that that effort, which is backed up by the timefigure; mid-division, shuffled back over 2f out, effort approaching final 1f, never landed a blow, eased off late on.

should've been suited by stepping back up in trip but ran no better than respectably after just 6 days off; in touch, pushed along soon after halfway, not quicken.

is yet to convince he's as good this year as last but in fairness didn't have much go right back on all-weather; raced wide, close up, ridden over 2f out, hampered approaching final 1f, effort flattened out.

Not many improvers in this useful handicap but plenty ran their race and the form looks solid; the pace was sound.
