STORMIN TOM (IRE) has been a one-win-per-season horse, but that paints an unfair picture of him, already runner-up 3 times in 2018 prior to this, quick to heap pressure on Altra Vita in the straight, leading over 1f out, strong to the end, probably a lifetime best on form.

GABRIAL'S KING (IRE) out of the winning habit but emerged here from a quieter spell, albeit in what proved a thinner race than it looked on paper, the most patiently ridden and going second in the final 1f, no worry for Stormin Tom.

ALTRA VITA hard to believe from the way she'd been winning that she failed for stamina over this new trip, or that her rating would have maxed out, so it may be wise not to draw those conclusions, leading 2f out but never getting away, not moving that fluently after the first 2 took her measure.

PSYCHOTIC hiked in trip, a hint of desperation about it, for all he ran better over 12f around here last month, not seeing this out, unthreatening before weakening over 1f out.

HIGH ON LIGHT seemed a clear-cut non-stayer, over 2m for the first time, dictating at will for a good way, headed over 2f out, possibly also feeling the effects by the end of her full-on reappearance.
