followed up from last time with an even better performance, looking an improved model all of a sudden and doing this with a bit to spare; tracked pace, travelled strongly, had to wait for gap over 1f out, quickened to lead inside last ½f, won cosily; she's on the upgrade and is one to be interested in again.

had winning run ended off an 8 lb higher mark but lost nothing in defeat to a similarly thriving sort; prominent, shaken up 2f out, led inside final 1f, headed inside last ½f, no extra; he'll need to pull out a bit more to defy this higher mark, but it's not hard to see him going close again.

shaped well after 9 months off, looking a shade rusty in the early part of the race but getting going late on on her first crack beyond 5f, arguably a little unfortunate not to finish closer still to the first 2 given the trouble she met; dwelt, raced off the pace, not settle fully, short of room over 1f out, kept on, never nearer; she's in good hands and may have more to offer this year.

ran respectably back in handicap company, not beaten by the step back up in trip but leaving the impression that he may prove best at 5f; led, took keen hold, shaken up over 2f out, headed inside final 1f, no extra.

might have needed the run after 10 weeks off, this test also perhaps on the sharp side, though at the same time he didn't look totally straightforward; in touch, off the bridle before most, held, and hanging left, when hampered briefly inside final 1f, faded.

ran better than last time without returning to form, excuses once more difficult to come by; pressed leader, weakened final 1f.

Just a small field but this looks solid form, the first 2 thriving, the third unexposed and the fourth also arriving on the back of a win; the pace seemed fair with Kassia scoring cosily having been forced to wait for a gap.

KASSIA (IRE) followed up from last time with an even better performance, looking an improved model all of a sudden and doing this with a bit to spare; tracked pace, travelled strongly, had to wait for gap over 1f out, quickened to lead inside last ½f, won cosily; she's on the upgrade and is one to be interested in again.
