WISHING AND HOPING (IRE) a useful novice hurdler last season (won first 2 starts before being pulled up in graded company in January), shaped well sent chasing after 9 months off, making a smart rival pull out all the stops, and looks sure to prove even better in this sphere; made running, jumped well in main, went with enthusiasm, ridden when headed 2 out, kept on.

HUNTERS HOOF (IRE) fairly useful over hurdles, albeit a bit underwhelming on his last handful of starts, has the physique for chasing and should learn from this initial experience, also likely to come on for the run fitness-wise having been off for 6 months; mid-division, not always fluent, left behind 5 out.

JUST GEORGIE a fair maiden over hurdles, is very much the type to make a chaser but didn't have much going for him on these terms and was given a considerate introduction back from 7 months off; held up, jumped fine but never involved; he can be expected to do much better in handicap company next time.
