was back at a more realistic level, handicapping again, and defied a 3 lb higher mark than for her last win, always well positioned but worth praising her attitude; never far away, travelled well, led around 2f out, kept on gamely.

went like the best horse at the weights in terms of pure ability, coming from a less-than-ideal position right out the back, but if he'd have focused he'd might have won, the winner looking the more straightforward of the pair in the finish; steadied at the start, in rear, smooth progress over 2f out, every chance over 1f out but wandered badly, going right then left, kept on towards finish but out of time; a more strongly-run affair than this would be ideal and there are more handicaps in him.

wasn't disgraced behind a less-exposed pair, and would probably have benefited from a stronger gallop; in touch, took keen hold, effort over 2f out, not quicken, no match for principals.
