Built on encouragement of previous effort when 1½ lengths fourth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle 18 days ago, the first 2 both scoring again since. Enters calculations from 12 lb below last winning mark.

Sole success over 1m at Newcastle in October. Encouraging fourth in 8-runner contest here (7f) last month but hasn't built on that 2 starts since, twelfth of 18 at Doncaster (1m) 6 days ago. Worth a market check with his win coming off this same mark.

Held his form well in second half of last year, successful at Beverley and Musselburgh. Has looked to be working his way back in 2 starts this season, drawn widest and again ridden more patiently than usual when seventh of 10 at Pontefract last month.

Remains with just the one career victory, but placed 3 times at this course in 2025 and left this season's return behind when fourth of 11 here (7f) 26 days ago. Could be thereabouts making only third career start at this trip.

Opened account on only fourth start for present trainer at Kempton in December. Yet to fire this year, eighth of 11 at Wolverhampton 19 days ago, though he's dropped back down in the weights as a result.
