Without a win since 2024 reappearance but wasn't disgraced kept mainly at Group 1 level last season. Dropped in grade, ran well on this season's return when beaten a length by Aramram in listed race at Doncaster 19 days ago, despite his tendency to race freely.

Winner of this race on return in 2024 and fourth in the Palace House here last year. Took advantage of a drop in grade when getting back to winning ways in listed race at York in July, before having excuses at the highest level both subsequent outings. Respected at this course.

Successful 4 times last year, including handicaps at this venue and Ascot in the summer, before good third in listed race won by Elmonjed at York in September. Only fifth of 8 in listed event at Wolverhampton on return, though his best form has been on straight tracks.

Has returned better than ever this year, winning a Lingfield handicap in January before overcoming trouble at the start to dead-heat with Diligent Harry in listed race at the same course 2 weeks later. Effective on turf and now gets tongue strap added.

Took his form up a notch last season, winning a valuable handicap at York in July and making the step up to listed level on final 2 starts, successful back on the Knavesmire in September. Headgear/tongue strap absent on return from 7 months off.

Gained a first win in pattern company in the Chipchase at Newcastle last summer and has proved as good as ever this year, making it back-to-back listed race wins at Lingfield with a ready success in February. Yet to win on turf, though, despite plenty of good efforts.

Both wins on all-weather, including on last year's return, but improved on turf when beaten only a head by Elmonjed in listed race at York in September. Raced alone towards the stand side when fourth in Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh on final outing of the campaign.

Missed 12 months prior to 2025 and built on promise of his first 2 starts back (fourth of 7 in this race) when third in the July Cup at this venue. However, failed to repeat that effort on his 2 remaining outings of the season.

Off the mark on nursery debut at Yarmouth in September and progressed again when third behind Beckford's Folly in the Cornwallis here. Confirmed that improvement when also third in Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Del Mar, though has something to find in this contest.
