#2 Alligator Blood – Gold Coast R6 (05:15 GMT)

Alligator Blood is a classy three-year-old who was just too good when winning both of his starts last month. He proved his class in the spring when winning the Caulfield Guineas Prelude and was unlucky when second in the main event. He is hard to look past in this field and gets the vote to land the hat-trick. Leviathan and Superium are both in good form at the minute and look the best of the rest.

#2 Farnan – Gold Coast R7 (06:00 GMT)

Farnan cruised home on his debut at Canberra before proving too good for a talented filly at Wyong last month to make it two wins from two. He looks a smart colt and, with further improvement anticipated, he is taken to maintain his unbeaten record from a favourable draw. Also putting his unbeaten record on the line is Aim, who bolted up at Randwick recently. He has leading claims and will give the selection plenty to think about, but may come up just short, while King’s Legacy makes up the shortlist.

#6 Vega One – Gold Coast R8 (06:45 GMT)

Vega One has improved with each run this campaign and impressed when a comfortable winner at Eagle Farm last month. He has posted a trial win since and should take plenty of stopping at what looks to be his optimum trip. Deep Image is also in top form at the minute and is in with a chance if able to overcome a wide draw, while Smartedge has solid place claims.
