An open-looking contest in which preference is for ASMEN WARRIOR, who has found one too strong in 5 of his 7 starts for current connections but his latest Windsor effort represented a significant step forward. With first-time blinkers applied, he can gain a first handicap success at the expense of Stem, who is entitled to be sharper for his return and forecast conditions are in his favour. Mister Winston, Celeborn and Man of La Mancha are just a handful who may also feature, too.

STELLAR SUNRISE bumped into a pair very much on the up when third in a strong race at Newmarket last time and he has excellent claims to make it 4 wins from 8 career starts. Ten Carat Harry continued his remarkable rise with success on return to turf at Newmarket and another big run is expected, while Commonwealth Cup entrant Northern Champion looks interesting back in calmer waters.

A wide open finale but it's still hard to ignore the claims of DANCE IN THE STORM who really impressed on her return when going in at Chester and can make light of a 6 lb rise. Rhoscolyn took this in 2021 and 2024 and lurks on a dangerous mark again now so heads the list of dangers ahead of Zarathos, Mister Bluebird and Arctic Thunder.
