PRIDE OF NEPAL is taken to defy the handicapper again and complete a hat-trick. Knightmare is one of few others who arrive in form. Olivia Jane and The Pug have been the subject of potentially significant trainer changes and would enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in their favour.

It could be worth chancing ARTAVIAN, who will be suited by any cut in the ground and ran well under this pilot in a similar contest last autumn. Man Is King and Little She are feared most.

EABHA is taken to confirm her Newbury debut superiority over Tall Trees and strike at the second time of asking. A market move for one or more of the newcomers would also see them enter calculations, with Ralph Beckett's 475,000 gns purchase Spirit Tango one who makes obvious appeal.

Rossa Ryan retains the ride on SONIC SI after steering him to success at Nottingham last month. Still feasibly treated, he may be able to follow up. Fletcher's Flight and Savannah Smiles look the principal dangers.

HINT OF THE JUNGLE posted another good effort when runner-up at Nottingham earlier this month and will be suited by the return to this longer trip. He can resume winning ways. The Organiser and Sioux Warrior are also of interest.

PUNCHBOWL FLYER has registered 2 victories over C&D and recorded his best effort of the year under this pilot here earlier this month. He makes most appeal. The winner of that contest, Too Much Trevor, and fourth home, Autumn Angel, should also go well.

AJRAD generally goes well round here and is taken to bounce back from an underwhelming effort last time. Redhot Whisper and Miss Chester can fill the places in that order.

SECONDS COUNT can take a step forward from her encouraging reappearance effort and finally get off the mark at the expense of Homeland. Recent C&D scorer Scarfo may have to settle for a minor role.

WISE AND WONDERFUL appeals as likely to be suited by the step up to 7f and gets the vote but she didn't run to that high a level on her debut and strong market support for newcomers Starlight Mirage and/or March Lilly would put a different slant on things.
