10 Feb 15 Clo Stks pu/6 Chase W 20.7f Gd/Sft B. J. Cooper 20/121 43.86 -/21 4
has completely lost the plot, this another lacklustre effort; always behind.

wasn't in same form as last time; raced off the pace, took strong hold, left behind after 3 out.
29 Nov 14 Fry Hcap 10/13 26 Chase 142 17f Soft B. J. Cooper 33/134 78.28 -/21 3x 116 116
completed for the first time over fences this season, though again failed to convince with his jumping and clearly isn't the force of old; mid-field, made mistakes, effort leaving back straight, made no impression; prone to jumping errors.
9 Nov 14 Nav Grade 2 pu/7 Chase G2 16f Gd/Sft (h) Barry Geraghty 20/121 38.84 -/25 5 +
in first-time hood, failed to complete again, though jumping wasn't the issue this time; dropped out, pushed along 4 out, behind when pulled up after 2 out, might have been amiss.
25 Oct 14 Ain C1 Hcap ur/12 Chase 145 20f Good Dougie Costello 28/129 42 -/40 5x
would appear to have jumping issues these days, in rear when screwing and unseating rider at the first.

27 Apr 12 Pun Grade 1 1/7 1.5 Chase G1 16f Heavy Barry Geraghty 4/15 5.7 8/- 2jr 153+ 153+
is finishing his second season over fences on a high, confirming the improvement shown at Fairyhouse last time to turn around form from earlier in the season with the runner-up, but his overall profile would suggest that he will struggle to add to this success if kept to the highest level; he jumped well out of this ground, loomed up to challenge between the last 2 and found plenty after going out to his left at the last.
9 Apr 12 Fry 1/17 1.25 Chase 135 17f Soft Barry Geraghty 5/16jf 6.8 6.6/- 3kr 149+ 149+
kept the mistakes to a minimum and put up the sort of performance that would have seen him go close in the Grand Annual with a clear round, given a cool ride, covering the move of the runner-up when not fluent 2 out, and ridden out to get the better of that rival after going left at the last; the 2m novice division looks particularly weak in Ireland this season and he's likely to look a feasible candidate for the Grade 1 over that trip at Punchestown.
16 Mar 12 Chl C Hcap ur/21 Chase 138 16.5f Good B. J. Cooper 14/115 18.31 -/13.5 4x
is prone to the odd mistake and gave his rider little chance when blundering at the eighth.
29 Jan 12 Leo Grade 1 4/7 22 Chase G1 17f Soft B. J. Cooper 16/117 31.74 -/25 134 134
has had plenty of chances in this sort of company but wasn't disgraced considering he took a good hold and made a hash of 2 for the second start running at this course, making a lesser error at the previous fence when still having plenty to do and sticking on in the straight.
26 Dec 11 Leo Grade 1 4/9 7 Chase G1 17f Gd/Sft B. J. Cooper 10/111 17.41 -/8 143 143
is exposed as being below the level required to win races of this nature, but may well have snuck a place had he not belted 2 out.
20 Nov 11 Pun Grade 2 2/7 6.5 Chase G2 16f Soft Barry Geraghty 2/13f 3.38 -/1.56 137 137
lost no caste in defeat conceding weight to an improving rival, but is unlikely to get a better chance to win a race at this grade given his 3 lb penalty, so probably needs his sights lowering a bit, going with the winner from 3 out but unable to raise his game after the last.
13 Oct 11 Pun Grade 3 1/9 1.25 Chase G3 18f Soft B. J. Cooper 9/25.5 7.37 7.2/- 138+ 138+
is putting the experience he gained last season to good use and confirmed himself a useful chaser, travelling strongly before challenging 2 out and finding enough after hanging left between the last 2; he reportedly has the Drinmore as his aim, but it's hard to see him winning Grade 1s, and some of those behind him here could eventually progress past him.
23 Sep 11 Lis 1/10 9 Chase W 16f Heavy B. J. Cooper 8/111.72f 1.82 2.5/- 116+ 116+
made no mistake faced with a straightforward task on his first run for over 7 months, always prominent and still on a tight rein with his only remaining rival covered when left clear at the last; he was outjumped at the last 2 fences before the straight and will make more appeal in handicaps than graded novices, looking held when brought down 2 out in the Drinmore last season.

12 Feb 11 Leo (0-140) 9/19 21 Hurdle 131 16f Soft Denis O'Regan 12/113 23 -/7.8 116 116
is starting off in handicaps from a stiff mark and never really threatened under a hold-up ride.
15 Jan 11 Naa Grade 3 6/9 6.5 Hurdle G3 19f Heavy B. J. Cooper 9/110 11.06 -/2.66 127+ 127+
shaped better than the bare result at a trip which stretches him, travelling strongly and disputing the lead briefly before pecking 2 out (still second after the last); he remains well up to winning a maiden chase around 2m.
31 Dec 10 Pun 5/8 4.6 Hurdle W 20f Soft Paddy Flood 8/19 14 -/3.5 131 131
ran as well as could be expected in the face of a stiffish task on his return to hurdles, not fluent at the second but one paced after challenging for a place at the last.
15 Dec 10 Fry Grade 1 bd/9 Chase G1 20f Gd/Sft Andrew J. McNamara 14/115 26.02 -/18.5 124+ 124+
was probably flying a bit high, making a mistake at the seventh and niggled along in sixth when brought down 2 out (9 lengths in front of Bostons Angel at the time); a maiden remains well within his grasp.
7 Nov 10 Nav 2/11 7 Chase W 16f Heavy Paddy Flood 3/14 4.5 -/1.26 124+ 124+
hasn't had the rub of the green so far over fences and remains a banker for a maiden at the very least, by no means done with in a close second when all but falling at the last on this occasion.
30 Oct 10 Naa 2/12 1 Chase W 16f Gd/Sft Paddy Flood 15/82.87f 3.05 -/1.33 122+ 122+
will surely win a maiden chase before much longer, jumping soundly apart from one slight error 5 out here, staying on for pressure to edge ahead halfway up the run-in only to be collared by one who swooped late.
5 Oct 10 Tip F /13 Chase W 16.5f Gd/Sft B. J. Cooper (5) 2/13f 3.69 -/1.11 130+ 130+
looked to have this race in safe keeping when coming down 2 out and will have little difficulty making amends in a similar contest; he travelled/jumped well behind the leaders, went on with a good jump 4 out and was still on the bridle when knuckling over a stride after 2 out having jumped the fence perfectly well; he was useful in bumpers/hurdles last season, is likely to prove best at up to 2½m and acts on heavy ground.

23 Apr 10 Pun Novice su/23 Hurdle N 16f Good B. J. Cooper (7) 7/18 8.8 -/7.2 +
was tracking the leaders when he appeared to clip heels going into the bend after 4 out.
10 Apr 10 Ain C Grade 2 6/9 12.5 Hurdle G2 20f Good D. J. Casey 11/112 16.54 -/5 131 131
possibly hasn't yet shown his all, promising more with the way he travelled here and, not for the first time, possibly stretched by the trip after threatening to take a hand 3 out (likely to prove best around 2m); he did show useful form in bumpers and appeals as the sort to thrive in handicaps.
27 Feb 10 Nav Grade 2 2/6 3.5 Hurdle G2 16f Heavy D. J. Casey 7/18 10.3 -/2.98 129 129
ran at least as well as when winning a maiden at course and distance earlier in the month, having every chance, chasing the winner and disputing the lead with him from 3 out until the pair bumped after the next.
14 Feb 10 Nav Novice 1/23 2.5 Hurdle N 16f Soft D. J. Casey 11/26.5 6.94 6.8/- 125+ 125+
resumed his progress returned to the minimum trip and won in sufficiently good style to suggest there may be better still to come, leading going well 2 out and finding plenty for pressure on the extened run-in after his only mistake at the last; he should be able to win an ordinary novice under a penalty.
29 Dec 09 Leo Novice 11/16 47 Hurdle N 20f Gd/Sft D. J. Casey 5/16 5.9 -/6 86 86
may prove best around 2m for the time being, still going well behind the leader after not fluent 3 out but weakening tamely from the next.
5 Dec 09 Nav Novice 2/16 1.5 Hurdle N 16f Heavy Mr M. J. O'Connor 5/42.25f 2.28 -/1.6 123 123
did what he had to in order to improve, jumping and settling better than on his hurdling debut here, tight for room as he tried to get up the inside of the winner from 2 out but held in the final 100 yds; he should have little difficulty winning a maiden at this trip.
8 Nov 09 Nav Novice 6/28 32.5 Hurdle N 20f Soft B. J. Cooper (7) 7/42.75 3.3 -/3.4 99+ 99+
didn't make the impact his 2 wins in bumpers had promised, and will need to jump and settle better to fulfill his potential, weakening after taking 3 out in a share of third with Ad Idem.
18 Oct 09 Naa Amat Stks 1/13 7 NH Flat W 19f Good Mr M. J. O'Connor (3) 5/42.25f 2.43 2.96/- 106+ 106+
was impressive in defying a penalty and really does look a good prospect for novice hurdles, taking a good hold, allowed to take up the running over 7f out and held on to in a narrow lead until being pushed clear in the final 1f; he's a strong-running sort but should have no problem getting 2½m.
13 Sep 09 Lis 1/18 5 NH Flat W 16f Soft Mr M. J. O'Connor (3) 9/25.5 5.5 5.3/- 101+ 101+
was impressive in going one better than at Killarney 4 months on, albeit not needing to improve on the bare form, taking a narrow lead a circuit out, still moving well within himself turning in and picking up nicely when shaken up in the final 1f to win going away; bred to stay 2½m but not short of speed, he looks sure to make his mark over hurdles.
126 day break
10 May 09 Kil 2/18 2 NH Flat W 17f Gd/Sft Miss N. Carberry 5/16 7.8 -/1.19 103 103
achieved a fair bit more than when fifth on his debut at Punchestown earlier in the month, leading early and again from the end of the back straight, worn down late on after edging right briefly 200 yds out; he is well up to going one better in a similar event.
2 May 09 Pun 5/21 14.5 NH Flat W 17f Soft Mr M. J. O'Connor (3) 12/113 -/ 82+ 82+
(by All My Dreams; dam unraced half-sister to useful staying hurdler Mumbles Head) was close up for a long way but managed just modest form.
